Position Summary

The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely transporting raw materials, finished goods, and inventory throughout the facility while supporting warehouse operations and production requirements. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product movement is accurate, timely, and compliant with all safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and experienced operating various types of powered industrial equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment.


Essential Functions
  • Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks in accordance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials throughout the facility.
  • Supply production lines with raw materials to support uninterrupted operations.
  • Transport finished goods to designated warehouse and storage locations.
  • Accurately complete inventory transactions using warehouse management systems, scanners, or handheld devices.
  • Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly.
  • Ensure proper storage and rotation of materials using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practices.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Assist with receiving, shipping, cycle counts, and inventory audits as required.
  • Verify product quantities, labeling, and documentation before movement or shipment.
  • Follow all food safety, quality, GMP, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to support operational goals.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of forklift operating experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse environment.
  • Ability to operate sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, and pallet jack equipment safely and effectively.
  • Experience loading and unloading trailers.
  • Basic computer skills and experience using inventory systems or scanners.
  • Ability to accurately count, track, and document inventory.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
