About the Role:

The Design Engineer plays a critical role in supporting the manufacturing process by creating working designs of custom equipment while considering customer requirements, Eagle manufacturing processes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This role requires a highly detail-oriented individual with CAD experience, strong problem solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Formal education in CAD software (OnShape, PTC Creo, Solid Works preferred)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with custom product engineering or manufacturing projects.
  • Associate’s degree in engineering or related technical field preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and develop design solutions to meet customers’ needs.

  • Create working models and shop drawings utilizing 3D CAD software.

  • Prepare and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs) for custom designs in support of manufacturing and MRP requirements

  • Interpret approved submittals drawings, project specifications, industry standards, manufacturing processes, and regulatory standards to create manufacturing documents for fabrication.

  • Maintain organized and accurate engineering files and records within company systems

  • Collaborate with teams inside and outside Eagle to clarify and outline design details.

  • Continue to drive innovation across operations

  • Other duties as needed

    This is an on-site position. Candidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Clayton, DE to support consistent attendance and schedule flexibility.
