Teacher Assistant

We are seeking a passionate, energetic, and qualifiedPart-Time Lead Teacherto guide our Prep classroom. In this role, you will manage daily classroom activities, implement a play-based and structured curriculum, and foster a love for learning in young children.

Deliver Lesson Plans: Implement age-appropriate curriculum activities spanning literacy, math, science, and arts.

Classroom Management: Maintain an organized, clean, and safe classroom environment that fosters positive student behavior.

Student Assessment: Monitor individual student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.

Parent Communication: Provide regular, professional updates to families regarding their child's daily achievements and development.

Team Collaboration: Partner with lead teachers and administration to maintain high-quality care and operational excellence.

• Education: High school diploma required; CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience working in a licensed childcare facility or preschool setting.
• Certifications: Current CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain them quickly).
• Background Check: Must successfully pass all state-mandated criminal background checks and fingerprinting.
• Key Skills: Strong communication, patience, high energy, and a genuine passion for early childhood development.

Schedule & Compensation

• Job Type: Part-Time (approx. 20–25 hours per week)
• Shift: Monday through Friday afternoon
• Pay: Competitive hourly rate based on education and experience

Prefer Applicant to have CDA or Higher and 1 year of experience.
