SALARY & BENEFITS

In addition to the base pay range listed, team members in this role may qualify for quarterly or annual incentive bonuses based on company and individual performance.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Field Manager supervises the field teams, sales and marketing, advertising and promotion, order set up, planning, and coordinating all aspects of rental hay tarp and silage cover installation for assigned area.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Coordinate,call,andmeetwithbusinessesandorganizationsforpotentialnewbusinessandon- going business including maintaining a follow up process to improve customer relationships.
  • Plan,coordinate,scheduleandcontrolallsales,accountreceivables,andrentalactivityin assigned area.
  • Providedirectionforfieldteamsincluding,hiring,training,coaching,givingdirection, motivating, evaluating, disciplining, and termination of employment.
  • Managefleetofvehicles,equipment,andfacilitiesacrossdivisionsincludingensuringcompliance with all DOT processes.
  • Participatebyprovidinginputinthepreparationandmonitoringofannualbudgets.
  • Improvetheperformanceofthebusinessincludingproductivity,materialusage,salescosts, rental installation, and field quality and efficiency.
  • Reviewandapprovepayroll,timerecords,andservicepaperworkforfieldteams.
  • Superviseemployeesinprioritizingworkloadstoensurethereare adequate resources including contingency arrangements to meet customers’ needs.
  • Otherdutiesasassigned.

AUTHORITY

  • Mustgettheapprovalregardingthefollowing:
    • Extendinganycustomerpaymentorcreditschedulingotherthanauthorizedby company policy.
    • Approvingexpensesthatareaboveapprovedbudgetlimits.
  • Hastheoverallauthorityto:
    • Takeanyreasonableactionnecessarytocarryouttheduties oftheposition within sound business planning/development/implementation practices and good business judgment which is consistent with company policy.
    • Authorizediscountsandsettleinvoiceissuesupto2%.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • Minimumof3years’experienceinSalesorrelevantexperience.
  • Minimumof1yearofexperienceinmanagement.
  • Experienceinagricultureindustryand/orsimilarproductsanddistributionpreferred.
  • Driver’slicenseandabilitytobeinsuredundercompany'sinsurancecarrier.
