Description:
Olde Florida Motorcoach & RV Resort is seeking a full-time Housekeeping Attendant I to support cleanliness and presentation across multiple service areas within the resort. This entry-level hospitality role is responsible for maintaining guest accommodations, clubhouse facilities, public spaces, restrooms, and event areas according to established standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering a guest-ready environment daily. Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and peak event periods. This position reports to Maintenance Supervisor.
Requirements:
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Guest Accommodations (Park Models, Casitas, Rental Units)
- Clean and service guest units according to resort checklist standards
- Make beds, change linens, replace towels and amenities
- Clean kitchens and appliances
- Sanitize bathrooms including showers, toilets, vanities, and mirrors
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust all interior surfaces
- Inspect for maintenance issues and report immediately
Clubhouse & Public Areas
- Maintain cleanliness of clubhouse, social hall, and lounge spaces
- Clean and sanitize restrooms throughout the resort
- Maintain high-touch surfaces and entryways
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
Event & Activity Spaces
- Prepare event spaces prior to scheduled functions
- Reset and clean spaces following events
- Refresh restrooms and high-traffic areas during events
Laundry Operations
- Operate commercial washers and dryers
- Fold and organize linens
- Monitor linen inventory and report shortages
- Follow proper chemical handling procedures
Safety & Quality Standards
- Follow all resort cleaning protocols and checklists
- Use cleaning chemicals safely and in compliance with OSHA guidelines
- Maintain guest confidentiality and respect privacy
- Report safety hazards, lost and found items, or incidents immediately
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
Physical Requirements
- Frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and standing
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals
