Peach Tree Village Assisted Living is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our amazing team. The Maintenance Assistant position will coordinate with the Plant Operations Team and Elder Services Coordinator.

We are seeking a high energy, positive minded team player to join our maintenance team. This individual will wear many hats and often pulled in multiple directions. The ideal candidate for this position includes someone with experience painting, basic plumbing, basic electrical, floor care, lawn care and assisting with moving furniture. This role is ideal for a maintenance person who takes initiative and understands that each day brings different maintenance needs.

Responsibilities
The Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for:
Performing general building maintenance and repairs
Keeping exterior of property clean and organized
Addressing maintenance needs as seen throughout the community
- Changing light bulbs, including working from a ladder when necessary
- Completing painting projects as needed
Assisting elders with basic maintenance-related requests
Assisting elders move furniture in and out of community as requested
Completing other duties as assigned by the Director
Assist with transporting elders to appointments and outings as requested
Qualifications
- Basic painting experience required
- Basic plumbing knowledge
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Ability to safely use ladders and maintenance equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Experience in maintenance, senior living, apartment communities, or related fields is preferred but not required
Valid Driver License
