HOURS:

Monday – Friday, average of 45 hours per week

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

Reports to: Fabrication Supervisor

Supervise: n/a

Compensation: $17.49-$23.67

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The position will be responsible for ensuring that all general labor tasks are completed according to work order specifications and on-time per the manufacturing shop schedule.

Quality Standards

  • Follow all quality standards per the drawing and/or supervisor instructions.
  • Complete any required paperwork free from errors and in a timely manner.
  • Accurately record time on timesheet per project.
  • Quality of the checks during the process.
  • Accuracy of recordkeeping on the project.

Safety Standards

  • Follow all safety procedures when operating machinery.
  • Keep work area clean & organized so not to present a safety hazard.
  • Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) per RELCO & OSHA standards.
  • Quality of safety procedures followed during the fabrication process.
  • Safety of work area and CNC machines.

Other Duties

  • Assist when needed to train new coworkers as directed from area supervisor.
  • Work with other team members to maximize productivity & efficiency.
  • All other duties as assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a manufacturing plant environment. Personal protective equipment is required. This position is required to wear a respirator during certain processes and will be standing stationary for extended periods of time.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience : Experience working with equipment/hand tools etc. preferred
