Job Description
About the Role
Our Younger Toddler Teacher helps children ages 18 months - 2.5 years explore their world safely, confidently, and with lots of giggles. We’re looking for someone patient, playful, and fully committed to getting on the floor, building block towers, narrating everything, and celebrating every “I did it!” moment.

What You’ll Do

  • Create a warm, predictable classroom where toddlers feel safe to explore

  • Play at their level on the floor, at the table, outside wherever the learning happens

  • Support early independence skills like handwashing, simple choices, and gentle peer interactions

  • Guide toddlers through big feelings with calm, consistent responses

  • Follow all state licensing rules, safety procedures, and center policies

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and developmentally appropriate environment

  • Communicate with families and leadership in a positive, professional way

  • Work as part of a team to keep routines smooth and kiddos happy

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Patient, calm, and able to stay steady during toddler chaos

  • Comfortable singing, dancing, narrating, and being silly

  • Understanding of toddler development and ageappropriate expectations

  • Reliable, consistent, and able to follow classroom systems

  • Experience in childcare or early education preferred

  • CDA, Associate’s Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field) strongly preferred and qualifies you for our higher pay tier

  • We are willing to support staff in earning their CDA

Pay & Schedule

  • $15.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience and education

  • Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
