Title: Project Manager
PrimaryFunction: Provides overall project management duties to one or more construction projects and serves as the primary office contact regarding those projects, with responsibility for all aspects of construction from pre-construction through post-construction.
Typical Duties:
- WorkcloselywithProjectSuperintendentorotherjobsitesupervisor.
- CommunicatewiththeOwner,Architect/Engineer,Contractors,andSuppliers.
- Developandmanageprojectprogressschedule.
- Monitorandcontroljobcosts.
- CoordinatetheworkofContractorswithexpeditedmaterialdeliveries.
- Preparatetradecontracts,subcontractsandpurchaseorderagreements.
- Checkandprocessshopdrawingsandproductdatasubmittals.
- Administerschangemanagementsystemincludingdetermininganycostandscheduleimpactrelatedtochangesinthework.
- Implementthequalityassuranceprogramandsustainableconstructionprocedures.
- ImplementandenforceMiller-DavisCompany’sSafetyProgramandsafetyregulations.
- Complete projects within time, cost and quality requirements.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- CollegeDegreeinEngineering,Architecture,Construction,orrelatedcurricula.
- PriorconstructionexperienceincludingatleastthreeyearsasaProjectManager.
- Proficientcomputerskills,specificallywithMicrosoftOffice(Excel,Word,Outlook,Project,PowerPoint).
- Certificationspreferred:LEEDAccreditedProfessionalorLEEDGreenAssociate,OSHA10
- Problem solving and leadership skills.
