Bookkeeper I - Training Track

We're Hiring: A Detail-Oriented Person Who Wants to Build a Career in Bookkeeping

You don't need bookkeeping experience to succeed in this role. We're looking for someone who is dependable, organized, curious, and takes pride in doing things correctly.

As a Bookkeeper I – Training Track, you'll learn bookkeeping, accounting principles, QuickBooks Online, and our firm's processes through hands-on training. As your knowledge and confidence grow, so will your responsibilities.

Your Impact

You will learn to:

• Record and organize financial transactions accurately.
• Reconcile bank, loan, and credit card accounts.
• Prepare work papers and financial reports.
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and journal entries.
• Communicate with clients to gather information and clarify transactions.
• Follow established processes and internal controls.
• Identify discrepancies and ask questions when something doesn't look right.
• Support your teammates by completing work reliably and on time.

What We're Looking For

Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience is not required.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework or a degree in accounting, business, or a related field is a plus, but not required.
• Administrative, customer service, or other professional work experience is a plus, but not required.
• Experience working with financial information is a plus, but not required.
• Previous bookkeeping, accounting, or QuickBooks Online experience is not required.

A Note About This Opportunity

This position is designed for someone who may be new to bookkeeping but serious about learning the profession.

It is not necessary to know everything on your first day. It is necessary to be willing to learn, accept instruction, ask questions, practice new skills, and gradually take ownership of your work.
