Position Title: ProductProcessor(Material Handler)

Locations: 2670 Executive Drive,, Indianapolis, IN46241

Anticipated Start Dates: 09/03

Expected Duration: 3 Months

Job Type: Contract withpossible extension

Shift: 6a - 3.30p

Pay Rate $17.00/hr on W2.

Need: One year of experience in manufacturing or processing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Interview Process: 1-Phone screen, 2- Must Attend an Onsite Onboarding on scheduled day.

Job Title: Material Handler – Returns Processing

Primary Purpose:
Responsible for scanning, counting, and/or weighing quantities of returned materials as directed, ensuring accuracy and compliance with departmental procedures.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Sorts, counts, weighs, and scans returnedproducts daily in accordance with established departmental procedures.
  • Reviews documentation to determine the type and quantity of materials for processing.
  • Maintains the integrity and accuracy of all documentationassociated with returns, recording data as required.
  • Dispositions materials based on training and procedural guidelines.
  • Assists with shipping and receiving tasks as needed.
  • Ensures compliance with operational, regulatory, and OSHA safety standards.
  • Adheres to the company’s Code of Conduct as outlined in the Colleague Handbook.
  • Performs additional duties as required or assigned.

Additional Functions and Responsibilities

  • Supports organizational quality programs.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

Education & Licensing:

  • High school diploma preferred; GED required.

Experience:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing or processing environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to proofread and complete assigned tasks accurately.
  • Ability to maintain focus in dynamic and potentially distracting environments.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general PC use.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and timely customer response.
  • Capable of preparing accurate and comprehensive written reports.
  • Able to meet or exceed established performance metrics.

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent lifting (50+ lbs), standing, crouching, reaching, grasping, and repetitive hand movements.
  • Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, and sitting.
  • Exposure to chemical and pharmaceuticalproducts, which may pose allergenic risks.
  • Must be able to type and handle documents frequently.

Auditory/Visual Demands:

  • Must be able to hear, speak clearly, and see adequately to perform all job-related functions.
