Staff Accountant

Accountants One is working on an exclusive search for one of Atlanta's highly regarded companies.They recently promoted their Staff Accountant and are looking for their replacement. This is a great opportunity for someone with 2–3+ years of progressive accounting experience who wants broad exposure beyond the traditional accounting function and the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership.

• Full-cycle accounting across multiple entities
• Ownership of month-end close, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Monthly financial reporting and variance analysis
• Annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial presentations
• Audit and tax workpaper preparation
• Ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects
• Opportunity to help improve accounting systems and processes
• Direct exposure to the Director of Finance and leadership team

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance
• 2–3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong GAAP and Excel skills
• Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis
• Highly analytical and detail-oriented
• Comfortable in a small, collaborative team environment
• Strong ERP Systems experience such as SAP, Great Plains, NetSuite, or Sage Intacct

This is an in-office role 5 days a week
