Material Handler - Shipping & Receiving
Location: North Canton, OH
We are seeking a dependable Material Handler to join our Shipping & Receiving team. This position is responsible for accurately moving, receiving, storing, and shipping materials while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility
- Pick and prepare customer orders for shipment
- Verify labels, order sheets, and shipping documents for accuracy
- Receive incoming materials and ensure proper inventory handling
- Operate hand jacks and stand-up pallet jacks
- Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
Qualifications:
- Previous material handling, shipping/receiving, or warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to read and follow order sheets and shipping documentation
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
