WE CURRENTLY HIRING FOR A FRONT DESK POSITION WITH A HEAVY EMPHASIS ON ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES AND BENEFITS INVESTIGATION; MEDICAL TRAINING/EXPERIENCE IS NOT NECESSARY TO BE CONSIDERED; TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED.

We are a team-oriented and fast-paced office looking to hire a full-time employee. The FRONT DESK POSITION is an entry-level position that focuses on managing patient workflow in the clinic. The Front Desk Position will cross-train in administrative roles to support the clinic. The position involves interacting with patients, health insurance companies, and other physician offices. All candidates must complete the online questionnaire to be considered. No candidate will be considered with a partially completed questionnaire. Please answer all the questions. Virtual interviews will be scheduled late afternoon, after hours, and on weekends if necessary.

Primary responsibilities for the FRONT DESK POSITION include:

* Check-in patients for their appointment, collect patient financial responsibility, post payments, and confirm necessary intake forms and consent forms are completed

* Schedule follow up, diagnostic, and surgical procedure appointments

* Verifying insurance status and benefits for office visits, diagnostic testing and surgical procedures

* Communicate insurance coverage details to patients

* Send reminder text messages for patient appointments

* Directing patients to online resources for documentation uploads

* Scanning and uploading documents

* Manage communication and visits with drug representatives


Secondary responsibilities for the FRONT DESK POSITION include training as a medical assistant:

* Managing correspondences and documentation from providers and medical assistants

* Patient portal enrollment of the new and established patients

* Taking ownership of assignments to improve patient experience

* Maintain clear communication with medical assistants, billing staff, and providers

* Supporting scheduling

* Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; keeping patient information confidential.

* Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.

Ideal candidates are meticulous and detail oriented. The candidate must be able to multitask while working in a fast-paced environment.

Scheduling requirements 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday - Thursday; 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Friday.

The selected candidate will serve a ninety (90) calendar day introductory period. After the introductory period is completed, you will be eligible to earn up to 10 paid days of personal time off and five paid holidays. Individual and family insurance is available at the candidate's expense.
