Job Summary: $16.00-$18.50 hourly

As an Activities Leader, you will play a vital role in developing and providing engaging social activities for our assisted living residents, ensuring each person is treated with respect and dignity.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and participate in recreational activities that are scheduled on the monthly activity calendar

• Assist in coordinating appropriate entertainment

• Attend/assist residents on community outings

• Attend/assist in resident special events/holiday outings

• Lead daily activities according to the calendar

• Clean and straighten up each area after an activity is completed prior to leaving that area

• Understand residents' needs for patience, tactile stimulation, sensory stimulation, re-direction, and remain calm in all types of situations

Requirements:

• Weekends are a requirement, with a schedule that includes Tuesday thru Saturday

• Ability to foster a fun, creative, and positive environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
