We are seeking a Licensed Hair Stylist to join our team full-time. We are an exclusive Aveda salon, offering expert hair cutting, styling, and coloring services to clients of all ages. The ideal candidate will deliver personalized consultations, maintain strict sanitation standards, and recommend the best Aveda hair care and color products tailored to individual client needs. This role requires flexibility with weekend and evening shifts, perfect for professionals passionate about enhancing their customers' appearance and confidence.

Responsibilities

• Perform hair cutting, styling, and coloring services
• Conduct client consultations to determine desired styles and treatments
• Adhere to sanitation and safety standards in all service areas
• Recommend Aveda hair care products suited to individual client needs
• Manage appointment scheduling via phone, manual booking, and salon software
• Assist with retail sales of hair care and color products
• Provide excellent customer service to enhance client satisfaction
• Maintain clean and organized workstations

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in hair styling
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• State cosmetology license
• Proficiency in hair cutting and coloring techniques
• Strong customer consultation and product knowledge skills
• Understanding of sanitation standards
• Experience with appointment scheduling and time management
• Excellent customer service abilities
