OSP Inspector

Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance and Compliance:

• Conduct inspections ofOSPconstructionsites to verify compliance with project specifications, design standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluateconstructionactivities, materials, and installations to ensure adherence to industry best practices and quality standards.
• Identify deviations from approved plans or specifications and recommend corrective actions to maintain project integrity and performance.

Safety Monitoring:

• Monitorconstructionsites for adherence to safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), equipment operation, and workplace safety practices.
• Identify potential safety hazards and work withconstructionteams to implement corrective measures to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in telecommunications,constructioninspection, or related field is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience inOSPconstructioninspection, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
• Thorough knowledge ofOSPconstructionstandards, practices, and safety regulations.
• Familiarity with fiber optic network infrastructure components, installation techniques, and testing procedures.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolveconstruction-related issues effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment, including measurement devices, testing instruments, and documentation software.
• Certifications such as BICSIOSP(Building Industry Consulting Service International - Outside Plant) Technician or equivalent are desirable.
