Assistant Caf Manager
Position open for Assistant Caf Manager at the JFK Library Caf. Candidate must be able to obtain a Federal background check. Current ServSafe certificate is required. Minimum 2 consecutive years of experience in a managerial position required
Duties to include, but not limited to the following:
Oversee Caf food production as well as applicable in-house catering.
Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of the caf and its equipment.
Excellence in customer service is a must.
Competency in ordering and inventory is required.
Strong organizational skills and reliable transportation
Must be able to lift, move, and carry 50+lbs
Must be able to work 8+ hours a day on feet
1-2yr caf management preferred
Keep communications current with GCI management. Meet regularly with the Program Manager & VP of Operations.
Clearly understand and implement the Emergency Procedures for the John F. Kennedy Library & Museum when required.
Work within the constraints GCI’s federal contract with the National Archives and Records Administration for Caf, Event Catering and Event Services at the JFK Library & Museum. Maintain Standards of Conduct as set forth in the contract.
