What You'll Do
-Provide dedicated 1:1 support to an assigned student throughout the school day.
-Assist with academic, behavioral, social, and functional needs.
-Follow established IEP accommodations, behavior plans, and classroom routines.
-Utilize prompting, positive reinforcement, redirection, and de-escalation strategies.
-Support classroom participation and transitions throughout the day.
-Encourage independence while maintaining appropriate supervision.
-Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and Special Education staff.
-Maintain student safety, confidentiality, dignity, and professional boundaries.
