Location: Woodside, DE
Assignment Dates: August 24, 2026 - June 11, 2027
Schedule: 35 Hours per Week (Full-Time Preferred)

Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified School Psychologist to support students in a High School Vocational Education setting in Woodside, Delaware. This position serves one school and works with students ages 14-21 (Grades 9 through Transition Programs). The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting student success through comprehensive evaluations, assessment reporting, and IEP development.
While a full-time provider is preferred, the district is open to part-time candidates who can consistently provide weekly services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations for high school and transition-age students.
- Complete comprehensive evaluation reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, administrators, and families to support student needs.
- Analyze assessment data and provide recommendations for educational planning and services.
- Attend IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings as required.
- Ensure timely completion of evaluations and related documentation.
- Support student academic, behavioral, social, and vocational success through data-driven recommendations.
- Caseload Information
- High school and transition-aged students (ages 14-21)
- School-wide population of approximately 150 students
- Actual caseload will vary based on full-time or part-time status
- Many student needs are already being supported by existing staff and completed evaluations
- Primary responsibilities include evaluation reports and IEP-related services
Required
- Delaware Educator Certification with School Psychologist specification
- Strong knowledge of special education regulations, evaluation procedures, and IEP development
- Excellent written communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Preferred
- Experience working with high school and transition-aged populations
- Familiarity with vocational education settings
- Previous school-based experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations
