Field Service Technician – Electro-Spindles

ProSearchRecruiting Partners, an independent franchise of theMRINetworkthat specializes in hiring for factory automation OEMs andintegrators is hiring foraglobal leader in the design and manufacture of high-technology electromechanical components for industrial machine tools.This position will support customers throughmaintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and testing of electro-spindle systems.
TheField ServiceTechnicianwillbe responsible for:
- Diagnosing and troubleshootingelectrical and mechanical issuesin electro-spindles and associated machine systems
- Performingdisassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, and rebuildingof electro-spindle components
- Rebuilding spindles includingbearing replacement, shaft grinding, housing boring, and mechanical adjustments
- Conductingperformance testing and reliability verification, including vibration analysis, temperature monitoring, and runout measurement
- Interpretingtechnical drawings, schematics, and manualsto support repair and diagnostics
- Operatingelectronic and mechanical test equipmentsuch as oscilloscopes, multimeters, micrometers, and dial indicators
- Maintainingaccurateservice and repair documentationusing computer systems
- Collaborating withengineering teams and senior technical leadership in Italyto resolve complex technical issues
- Communicating clearly with customersregardingtechnical issues, repair status, and preventative maintenance strategies
- Ensuring compliance withsafety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and proper use of PPE
- Traveling to customer facilities when necessary todiagnose system-level issues involving machine integration or electrical connections
TheField ServiceTechnicianwill havethe followingexperience:
- Associate degree or technical certification inElectronic Technology, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or similar disciplinepreferred (or equivalent hands-on experience)
- Experience servicing or repairingelectro-mechanical machinery or machine tool components
- Experience withspindles, rotating equipment, CNC machinery, or woodworking machineryis highly preferred
- Strong knowledge ofelectrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read and interpretelectrical and mechanical schematics
- Experience usingdiagnostic and test equipmentsuch as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and motor diagnostic tools
- Ability towork independently andoperateautonomously in a technical role
- Strong communicationskills and ability tocollaborate with international technical teams
- Willingness totravel approximately 50%, primarily regionally
- Experience working directly onindustrial machines or machine components
TheCNCField Service Engineerwill be rewarded with:
