Pay Rate:$16.00 Hourly
Shift Schedule:
- Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Job Duties:
- Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to packing slips.
- Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.
- Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other
- designated areas.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to
- predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, and color or product code.
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or
- relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department.
- Mark materials with identifying information using the appropriate method.
- Assist in counting physical inventory.
- Weigh and count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to
- company standards.
- Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other departments.
- Always organize warehouse and work area per housekeeping standards.
- Wear the proper safety equipment and other Warehouse-relates tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Experience with riding electric pallet jack
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
- Basic Math
Physical Requirements:
- Stand and walk continuously throughout the shift
- Lift up to 40 lbs. regularly and up to 70 lbs. with assistance
- Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb throughout the workday
- Frequently use hands for gripping, reaching, handling, pushing, pulling, and operating tools
- Climb ladders, stairs, platforms, and scaffolding as needed
- Work around machinery, conveyors, confined spaces, and heights up to 20 feet
