Mechanical Drafter
Dickson City, PA

A growing manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Mechanical Drafter to convert architectural designs and specifications into accurate shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and production documentation.

This role works closely with customers, architects, engineering, production, sales, and customer service to take projects from initial design through fabrication. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically strong, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of drafting experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong proficiency with AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings and translate them into detailed fabrication drawings.
  • Familiarity with sheet metal properties, cutting processes, press brake operations, tooling, and bend calculations is a plus.
