The Wrapping Machine Operator is responsible for efficiently operating and maintaining various wrapping machines including manual and semi-automatic models, as well as handling custom logos, signs, and wrapping of semi trucks and 53 ft trailers. This role primarily follows a day shift schedule and involves occasional collaboration with other departments and travel between sites.
Responsibilities
- Set up wrapping machines according to job specifications
- Load materials efficiently to maintain production flow
- Perform quality inspections to ensure wrapped products meet standards
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines
- Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Keep detailed records of production and machine performance
- Occasionally collaborate with other departments to coordinate operations
- Travel to other sites as needed for wrapping projects
