Civil Construction Company | South Florida

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead all accounting and financial operations for a growing civil construction company. The ideal candidate will bring extensive construction accounting expertise, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record managing financial reporting, WIP schedules, cash flow forecasting, job costing, and ERP implementations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly financial statements, WIP schedules, cash flow reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Manage AIA billing, retainage, collections, and job costing.
• Oversee month-end close, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Lead accounting staff and support company growth initiatives.
• Implement and optimize construction accounting software and ERP systems.
• Partner with leadership on financial planning and project profitability.
• Utilize Sage 100 Contractor for accounting, reporting, job costing, and financial management.

Qualifications:

• Strong construction accounting experience.
• Expertise in WIP reporting, job costing, and AIA billing.
• Experience with Sage 100 Contractor.
• Proven success with ERP implementations and process improvements.
• Ability to support project managers and executive leadership with accurate financial reporting.
