Our customer inDixon,Illinois,is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruitingMachine Operatorsto work full-time on2ndshift.As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machines that fold, cut, process, and package materials, adjusting settings and controlling speed to ensure efficient and quality production.
Responsibilities of theMachine Operator:
- Operate and control fold, cut, process, and package all materialsperproduction specifications.
- Adjust and monitor the settings and speed of wind-up equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform routine checks to ensure materials meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of productionoutputsand quality control reports.
- Ensure that all safety protocols are adhered to during material processing and packaging.
- Troubleshoot any issues with equipment and materials, coordinating with maintenance as necessary.
Machine OperatorRequirements and Qualifications:
- Ability tolift upto 50lbs repetitively throughout the workday.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to materials and production.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or material handling is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of material processing and packaging.
- Basic knowledge of machinery and the ability to adjust equipment settings.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills for maintaining production documentation.
Pay forMachine Operator:Starting at $15.50/hour.
