Position Overview:
Stateline Grocery & More LLC is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused
Gaming & Store Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store, assisting with lottery and gaming operations, and ensuring compliance with all applicable state regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in both the store and gaming areas
- Operate cash register, lottery terminals, and point-of-sale systems
- Monitor gaming room activity and enforce compliance with age and conduct policies
- Check customer identification to ensure compliance with gaming laws
- Stock shelves, coolers, and gaming supplies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store and gaming areas
- Assist with general store upkeep, including sweeping, trash removal, and restocking
- Report any suspicious activity or issues to management promptly
- Follow all company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Prior retail or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Comfortable enforcing rules and policies in a professional manner
