r.World Reuse has successfully diverted over 25 million single-use products from landfills through the implementation of our high-quality, reusable cup systems at major live events, concerts, and festivals. Driven by a passionate team of music enthusiasts and sustainability advocates like you, our core mission is to eradicate single-use waste and prevent millions of megatons of plastic waste from contaminating and overwhelming our planet's delicate ecosystems.
Who We Need:
You will serve as the public-facing representative of the sustainability program by helping guests properly sort waste and recovering reusable cups before they enter the waste stream. We
are seeking enthusiastic, highly organized, dependable event specialists to join our team for an event in Orlando on November 14th - 15th, 2026. This role is ideal for entry level candidates and will report to the Festival Manager.
What You’ll Do:
- Inspect top layers of waste and recycling receptacles to retrieve misplaced cups
- Recover cups from the grounds, including damaged or broken items
- Maintaining continuous activity throughout the event, including prolonged walking and standing
- Assist attendees with proper waste sorting procedures and address sustainability inquiries
- Liaise with security personnel and venue staff to collect reusable cups
- Check in for team training and instructions fifteen minutes prior to the scheduled call time
- Uphold a professional and positive image for r.World at all times
Who You Are:
- Possess the ability to perform demanding duties, including standing, extensive walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and bending for extended periods.
- Demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced event environment alongside a diverse team while comfortably engaging with guests.
- Exhibit a strong work ethic dedicated to task completion and a genuine commitment to environmental sustainability.
- Maintain strict punctuality and offer scheduling flexibility.
- Serve as a professional representative of r.World, upholding a courteous and respectful demeanor toward all guests, staff, vendors, and partners.
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and will need to complete a W9 form as a 1099 Contractor.
Compensation:
- $25 per hour for up to 10 hour shifts. The schedule will be distributed one week prior to the event load in day via email.
Location:
- Camping World Stadium Campus, at: 1 Citrus Bowl Place, Orlando, FL.
Uniform:
- Comfortable, supportive footwear suitable for standing and walking for shifts lasting up to 10 hours.
- Lightweight attire and headwear; long-sleeved shirts and trousers are recommended for sun protection. Wear clothing that can get dirty.
- High-visibility safety vests will be provided by r.World and must be worn on site at all times and returned upon completion of each shift.
- Standard nitrile gloves will be supplied; staff members may alternatively supply their own heavy-duty work gloves.
