RN Weekend Supervisor
Nightingale Nursing and Rehab Center - Erie, PA
Weekend Position - Can be full or part-time. Additional hours can be picked up during the week.
Main days for the position are Saturday and Sunday
Nightingale Nursing & Rehab Center is seeking a confident, compassionate Registered Nurse Weekend Supervisor to oversee clinical operations during weekend shifts. This role is ideal for an experienced RN who thrives in a leadership position, ensures high-quality resident care, and supports staff throughout the building.
Position Summary
The RN Weekend Supervisor provides on-site leadership for all nursing staff during weekend hours. This role ensures resident care standards are met, assists with clinical decision-making, supports CNAs and LPNs, and serves as the primary point of contact for families, staff, and on-call leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee weekend nursing operations for a 139-bed skilled nursing facility.
Provide clinical guidance, support, and direction to LPNs and CNAs.
Conduct rounds to ensure resident safety, quality of care, and regulatory compliance.
Respond to changes in resident condition and coordinate appropriate interventions.
Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed.
Communicate effectively with families, physicians, and on-call leadership.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies.
Support staffing needs, including assisting with assignments and break coverage.
Promote a positive, team-focused environment and uphold facility standards.
Serve as the acting clinical leader on-site during weekend shifts.
Qualifications
Active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania (required).
Prior experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or subacute rehab strongly preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Schedule & Compensation
Weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).
