Responsibilities:
Manage the daily operations of the dining room, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery
Develop and implement menus that cater to the diverse dietary needs and preferences of our residents
Supervise and train a team of dietary aides, servers, and cooks to provide exceptional customer service and food quality
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dining environment, adhering to all applicable regulations and standards
Collaborate with the facility's administration to develop and implement policies and procedures related to food service
Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and supplies to ensure optimal resource allocation
Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures
Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and staff to foster a positive and welcoming dining environment
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in food service management or related field preferred
2+ years of experience in food service management, preferably in a healthcare setting
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Sound knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Basic computer skills and proficiency in food service software
