Shipping Clerk
Automation Personnel Services is looking for aShipping Clerkfor a company based inLargo, FL.Inthisrole, you willhave the opportunity to ensure that shipments meet delivery deadlines while showing great customer service with attention to detail and quality.
Pay Rate
$19.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday,3 30 pm to1200am.
Shipping ClerkDuties and Responsibilities
- Pick orders and prepare products for customer orders using a cherry picker, forklift, or other warehouse equipment.
- Stack and organize products on pallets so orders can be checked for accuracy.
- Complete and maintain paperwork related to orders and inventory.
- Work with warehouse staff, forklift operators, and supervisors to move products safely and efficiently.
- Follow warehouse procedures to ensure products are stored and shipped correctly.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all company safety rules and guidelines.
Shipping ClerkQualificationsandRequirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years warehouse and forklift experience. Cherry picker experience preferred.
- Ability to complete Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification training.
- Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, including hot and cold warehouse conditions.
- Able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Great understanding of safety standards.
