MATERIAL HANDLER
Automation Personnel Services is looking for aMaterial Handlerfor a company basedinLargo, FL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support production operations by ensuring materials and verified orders are accurately staged and delivered, playing a key role in maintaining an efficient workflow on the production floor.
Pay Rate
$16.00 per hour, second shift
Schedule and Hours
3:30-12:00 am, Monday-Friday
Material HandlerDuties and Responsibilities
- Load and unload merchandise from trucks (by hand)
- Inspect product quantities and colors of items brought for order verification.
- Identifies orders on verified pallets and brings them to the Production Floor.
- Maintains pallet flow of orders to production floor.
- Move wooden pallets to shipping areas using pallet jacks.
- Use scanner device to properly set orders in the correct location systematically.
Material HandlerQualificationsandRequirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of recent warehouse experience
- Able to work in fast-paced warehouse environment– high heat and cold temperatures.
- Ability to operate an electric pallet jack and manual pallet jack
- Able to lift 50lbs repetitively (lifting test will be provided)
PhysicalDemands
- Frequent bending andlifting upto 40 lbs.
- Standing for extended periods of time.
