Mitigation Technician & Business Development Assistant

Join a Growing Team in the Florida Keys

Royal Plus is looking for a motivated, dependable, and customer-focused individual to join our Key West team.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, meeting new people, and making a difference. You’ll receive hands-on training as a Mitigation Restoration Technician, responding to emergency water, fire, mold, and storm losses throughout Monroe County and beyond. During periods when emergency work is slower, you’ll help grow our presence in the Keys by building relationships with local businesses, supporting visiting team members, and helping maintain our Key West office.

No two days are the same, making this an ideal position for someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and being part of a team that serves people during difficult times.

What You’ll Do:

Emergency Restoration

• Respond to emergency water, fire, mold, and storm damage losses.
• Perform demolition of damaged building materials.
• Set up, monitor, and remove drying equipment.
• Operate restoration equipment including extractors, dehumidifiers, and air movers.
• Assist with contents handling and job documentation.
• Travel throughout Florida and nationwide during catastrophe events when needed.

Business Development

When restoration work is slow, you’ll help expand Royal Plus’ presence throughout Monroe County by:

• Visiting commercial businesses and prospective clients.
• Introducing Royal Plus and our services.
• Scheduling meetings between prospective customers and Royal Plus leadership.
• Maintaining records of marketing visits and customer contacts.

Concierge & Client Services

Provide concierge-level support for visiting Royal Plus clients by helping coordinate lodging, transportation, local logistics, and other accommodations. Ensure guests have a welcoming experience and assist with any reasonable needs that help make their stay productive, comfortable, and representative of Royal Plus’ commitment to exceptional service.

What We’re Looking For

• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Positive attitude with a professional appearance.
• Self-motivated and dependable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Restoration experience is not required.We are looking for a self-motivated individual with strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to learn and build a career in the restoration industry.
  

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Climb ladders, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work in confined spaces.
• Safely operate company vehicles and restoration equipment.
