Who We're Looking For (Position Overview).

Spry Methods is seeking an ER Inventory Management Specialist to provide inventory control, property accountability, material handling, and logistics support for highly technical programs and equipment. This key personnel position will maintain accurate records, support efficient storage and distribution, coordinate receiving and shipping activities, and help ensure equipment remains available to support mission requirements.The Inventory Management Specialist will work across internal and external teams to track assets throughout their lifecycle, resolve discrepancies, maintain audit-ready documentation, and support facility and operational readiness

What Your Day-To-Day Looks Like (Position Responsibilities)
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, material logs, and asset tracking documentation.
  • Reconcile government property and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Track asset lifecycle, condition, and location to ensure accountability and readiness.
  • Manage receiving, shipping, and transit documentation and logs.
  • Develop and maintain inventory reports, including accuracy, trends, and corrective actions.
  • Support material handling, storage, and distribution processes, including SOP development.
  • Maintain chain-of-custody and accountability procedures for controlled materials.
  • Support facility readiness activities, including inspections, issue tracking, and logistics reporting.
  • Coordinate material movement, delivery tracking, receipt, and acceptance activities.
  • Monitor warranties, repairs, and vendor coordination for equipment support.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely availability of materials and mission support.
What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements):

  • Active TS/SCI clearance.

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite for data management, reporting, and development of materials for senior leadership.

  • Working knowledge of the Federal Supply System and associated automated and manual supply systems.

  • Knowledge of equipment serviceability and asset accountability standards.

  • Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to complete mission-critical tasks accurately while working under pressure.

  • Demonstrated commitment to responsive and professional customer service.

  • Availability to provide on-call and weekend support as required.

Ideally, You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Familiarity with property accountability, asset tracking, and lifecycle management processes.

  • Experience developing inventory reports, dashboards, or data visualization tools.

  • Experience supporting facility operations, inspections, or logistics readiness activities.

This position is tied to a federal proposal effort. Employment is contingent upon contract award and successful completion of the customer's onboarding and security requirements. Start dates and final reporting instructions will be confirmed upon award.
