The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be requiredand assigned.

  • Serve as the primary front desk point of contact for the site, greeting clients, visitors, and other stakeholders and responding to questions or directing individuals to the appropriate staffmember.
  • Coordinate and administer the site’s client transportation needs, including scheduling and arranging transportation for admissions, discharges, transfers, medical appointments, and other approved appointments or program needs.
  • Transport clients for admissions, discharges, transfers, medical appointments, and other approved needs, when eligible to drive.
  • Provide administrative support for client admissions, discharges, and transfers, including completing or assistingwith required paperwork and supporting implementation of these processes as directed by the program coordinatoror designee.
  • Provide Recovery Specialist support duties as needed, including orienting new clients, assistingwith personal propertycheck-in and luggage searches, monitoringclient whereabouts and safety, interacting with clients, attending shift change reports, and documenting client interactions and observations in the electronic health record as appropriate.
  • Assistwith daily activities of clients and provide appropriate guidanceand support consistent with the role.
  • Provide administrative support to clinical, medical, and program staff, including drafting correspondence, organizing information, maintainingrecords, and supporting routine program operations.
  • Provide training and role modeling for new staffas assigned.
  • Maintain appropriate professionalboundaries with clients, visitors, coworkers, vendors, and all other stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required SkillsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required
Licenses / Certifications:
  • CPR Certifiedwithin 12 months of hire
  • Valid Driver’s License
Experience:
  • 2+ years experience in a substance use disorder treatment or behavioral health setting
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
  • Havethe ability towork independently.
  • Strong verbal skills and ability to communicate with a variety of people from diverse cultures, socioeconomic and educational backgrounds.
  • Flexibility to meet a variety of changing priorities
  • Maintain appropriate professionalboundaries with clients, visitors, coworkers, vendors, and all other stakeholders.
  • Computer skills sufficientto draft emails and memos, complete documentation, and support routine reporting.
  • Must know, understand, and follow applicable rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and requirements of the assigned program.

  • Criminal Background Check: Nationwide, federal, state, and multi-county (up to 7 years)
  • Drug and Alcohol Testing: Must pass pre-employment screening; subject to random and post-incident testing if in a safety-sensitive role

WORKING CONDITIONS / WORKING REQUIREMENTS
Physical Requirements:

  • Driving: Cars and program vans; frequency varies based on client transportation needs.
  • Sitting: up to 8 hours a day and/or walking up to 8+ hours
  • Lifting: Up to 25 pounds
  • Bending and Squatting: 10%
  • Stair climbing: 30%
  • Cleared Mantoux Screen
Work Environment:
  • Work is performed across multiple EOSIS treatment sites or intake settings
  • Fast-paced healthcare environment with varying program structures
  • Frequent interaction with clients experiencing substance use disorderand mental health challenges.
  • Requires flexibility to support multiple programs, locations, and changing priorities
