Job Description
The Quality Control Manager leads project-wide quality control efforts on large-scale Everglades restoration and pump station projects, ensuring all construction work complies with contract documents, approved plans, specifications, and the project Quality Control Plan. This role holds full authority to stop nonconforming work and is dedicated to quality control throughout production, playing a key part in delivering complex water/wastewater and heavy civil infrastructure safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Work Environment
This role is primarily site-based on large pump station and Everglades restoration projects in South Florida, with work performed at field locations and a job trailer office. The Quality Control Manager reports to a tenured Project Manager and works closely with the project team, including quality control staff, site safety personnel, the superintendent, project engineers, and administrative support. The position is classified as exempt and typically follows a schedule of approximately 7:00 a.m. to 4:00–4:30 p.m., with occasional weekend work, particularly on Saturdays, depending on project schedule, weather, and field conditions. The work environment involves active construction sites with heavy civil, mechanical, electrical, and water/wastewater infrastructure activities. Safety is a core focus, and proper personal protective equipment is required, including hard hat, steel-toe boots, work pants, company shirt, safety vest, gloves, and safety glasses. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Bay, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52.88 - $60.10/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
