We are currently looking for a high-energy, ethical, and motivated Tax Staff to contribute to our growing and inspired team.
Responsibilities for Tax Staff:
- Learns the various software programs essential to the Tax Department
- Learns office etiquette and professionalism
- Learns the Firm’s policies and procedures
- Develops efficient work habits (accuracy, timeliness, and organization)
- Completes tasks including tax return preparation, tax research, tax planning, and tax projections
- Client contact increases as experience is gained and knowledge increases
- Begins to train other tax staff prior to advancement
- Begins to invoice clients for work performed
Requirements for Tax Staff:
- 1+ years’ experience (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- CPA (or working towards CPA)
- Hardworking and positive attitude
- Ability and willingness to learn
- Adaptable, assertive, and takes initiative
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Desire to grow within the firm
