Job Description

This Mechanical Engineer role focuses on inventory and technical documentation for amanufacturing line. The position combines mechanical engineering expertise, document review, and collaboration with crossfunctional teams to ensure that the correct parts, drawings, and preventive maintenance requirements support reliable and efficient operations.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical engineering experience with a focus on manufacturing or maintenance environments.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks, including the ability to validate and interpret mechanical drawings and prints.
• Strong attention to detail when reviewing technical documentation, drawings, and inventory records.
• Ability to perform thorough document review and ensure alignment between drawings, equipment, and processes.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to work effectively with MRO, maintenance, and other teams.
• Motivated and self-driven approach to identifying issues and implementing improvements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience working with preventive maintenance programs and related spare parts planning.
• Familiarity with inventory management principles, including setting minimum and maximum stocking levels.
• Comfort with technical documentation management, including updating records, databases, and part lists.

Work Environment

The role operates primarily within the MRO area and an office setting. Time will be split between working in the MRO environment, where spare parts and materials are stored and managed, and an office environment, where documentation, drawings, and inventory systems are reviewed and updated. The position involves regular interaction with maintenance and MRO personnel, as well as frequent use of computer-based tools such as SolidWorks and inventory databases

This is a Contract position based out of Anna, OH.

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $36.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Anna,OH.
