Machine Shop Supervisor
Automation Personnel Services is looking for aMachine Shop Supervisorfor a company based in Decatur, AL. In this role, you will have the opportunity tooversee the daily operations, ensure that production goals, quality standards, and safety requirements are met.
Pay Rate
$25.00orper hourbased on experience
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday,700pm to330 pm.
Machine Shop SupervisorDuties and Responsibilities
- Ensure EH&S and Quality objectives are reached and maintainedin the department.
- Quote machining and fabrication jobs for external customers.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments such asgauges, micrometers, andcalipers.
- Ensure completion of safety documentation for assignedgroup, such as travelers, map sheets, jobrouter, work requests to other departments, etc.
- Ensure company policies and procedures.
Machine Shop SupervisorQualifications and Requirements
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining, milling, turning, and fabrication process.
- 1 year of machining experience, preferred 2 to 5 years of related experience.
- Previous supervisor experience.
