The hotel shuttle driver safely operates a passenger van or bus to transport guests to and from local destinations, airports, or train stations while providing friendly customer service and assisting with luggage.
Compensation:$17 hourly
Guest Transport: Drive guests safely and courteously to local attractions, businesses, or transit hubs.
Customer Service: Greet arriving and departing guests warmly, answer local area questions, and offer directions.
Luggage Assistance: Help guests load, unload, and carry luggage or specialized equipment.
Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily safety inspections, clean the vehicle interior/exterior, and report mechanical issues.
Record Keeping: Track daily mileage, fuel usage, and passenger counts.
Driver’s License: Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record and no major violations.
Age Requirements: Minimum age of 21 or 25 years old (often mandated by commercial vehicle insurance policies).
Physical Standards: Ability to sit for long periods and lift heavy luggage up to 50 pounds.
Screenings: Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening.
Interpersonal Skills: Professional communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
