Fabricator
Automation Personnel Services is looking for aFabricatorfor a company based in Decatur, AL. In this role, you will have the opportunity tocontribute to the production of high-quality components by applying technical, precision, and craftmanship to meet company standards.
Pay Rate
$23.00orper hourbased on experience
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday,300pm to1130 pm.
Sunday through Thursday, 11 00 pm to 7 30 am.
FabricatorDuties and Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
- Measure, mark and lay out materials for cutting and fabrication.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of fabrication equipment.
- Identify and report material defects, equipment issues, or production concerns.
FabricatorQualifications and Requirements
- Blueprint reading and interpretation.
- Knowledge ofshop mathematics and measurements.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy up to 50 pounds.
- Mechanical aptitude.
