A local growing construction company in the Altoona area is looking to hire a hardworking Construction Laborer with opportunities to learn the trade and advance into a carpenter position.
We are seeking hard-working and reliable construction worker for a laborer position. You will assist foremen and skilled tradespeople with daily site operations, material handling, and basic equipment operation.
Construction Laborer Qualifications and Responsibilities:
- Gathering Materials, load, unload, and stage building materials and tools at job sites.
- Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris, trash, and hazards.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and light machinery (training provided if needed).
- Assist carpenters and other crew members as directed.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. and work in varying weather conditions.
- Must be self-motivated, punctual and willing to learn the trade.
- Must have valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation.
- Previous construction experience is a plus, but entry-level applicants with a strong drive to learn are encouraged to apply.
