Responsibilities:
· Read and comprehend construction drawings and specifications.
· Work in conjunction with other employees and lead persons.
- Equipment Preparation: Prepare production equipment for operation by making necessary setup adjustments and assisting with equipment changeovers.
·Machine Operation: Solve production process problems, make equipment adjustments, and report production and quality data
·Operational Maintenance: Follow policies and procedures to maintain production operations, including managing equipment, raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods
- Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Use tool preset machine, precision measuring instruments and appropriate material handling equipment.
- Work from drawings, specifications, instructions, or visual display units.
- Perform fixture change-overs, loading and unloading of production parts, on-line piece parts inspection and manual data input to insure specified finishes/ tolerances
- Monitor control messages and take appropriate corrective action.
- Perform utility functions to maintain process
- Will perform housekeeping and deburr internal to machining operations.
- Fills out PM check lists and may assist in the PM of the machine.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support production goals and team objectives
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Education:
· Press Brake machine experience
· CNC machine experience
· Must have structural steel fabrication experience
· Must be able to read prints and layout assemblies per print
- Instruction Following: Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively
- Reading and Comprehension: Must be able to read and comprehend written instructions
- Basic Math: Ability to understand and use basic math for measurements and calculations
- Measuring Devices: Knowledge of using measuring devices
- Work Orders: Ability to read and understand work orders
· High School Diploma
· Must have the ability to lift 20-50lbs
