Commercial Construction Project Manager

The Commercial Construction Project Manager will oversee a range of construction projects from small-scale to large commercial developments. This role involves managing project planning, budgets, schedules, and teams to ensure successful project delivery. The manager will work directly with contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams while reporting to executive leadership or a senior project manager to maintain alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate all phases of commercial construction projects
• Manage budgets and control project costs effectively
• Negotiate contracts with contractors and subcontractors
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams
• Assess and mitigate project risks
• Ensure quality control and compliance monitoring on-site
• Maintain project schedules and timelines
• Communicate consistently with clients and stakeholders
• Allocate resources efficiently to meet project demands
• Supervise daily site operations to ensure safety and productivity

Required Qualifications

• PMP Certification
• OSHA Safety Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in commercial construction project management
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
• Expertise in project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control
• Strong skills in contract and risk management
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Effective time management skills
