The Harvest Scale Operator supports harvest operations by accurately scaling trucks, maintaining precise records, and serving as a key point of contact for internal and external customers. This role follows established standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure growers and carriers are paid correctly, while contributing to a safe, fast-paced, and customer-focused environment. This is not a temp-to-hire position and is specifically for a 2nd shift assignment.

Work EnvironmentThis role is for a 2nd shift position, generally scheduled from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with shift times that may vary based on operational needs. You must be flexible to work some overtime and weekend hours during busy periods. The work environment is safe, structured, and fast-paced, supporting agricultural and harvest operations. You will use computers extensively, including Microsoft Office (especially Excel), databases, and systems such as Global Seed, Seed Pro, and SharePoint. The position requires regular and reliable attendance and the ability to sit or stand for extended periods while performing repetitive keyboard tasks. Transportation to and from the assignment location is your responsibility. The site enforces a seatbelt policy requiring seatbelts in all motor vehicles on the property and an electronic device policy that allows mobile phone or device use only with hands-free technology while operating a vehicle. Cellular phones and mobile devices, including iPods and MP3 players, are not allowed in working areas during work time. Parking is permitted only in marked and appropriate areas as directed. The workplace is smoke-free. The dress code requires closed-toe, closed-heel shoes, long pants such as slacks or jeans, and a shirt with sleeves that at least cover the shoulders.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
