Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Associate to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth flow of goods shipping from our facility. This full-time role offers steady hours and a supportive environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Pick Product, Pack & Ship for FedEx or UPS Deliveries using in-house shipping programs as well as 3rd party tools
- Proficient in shipping programs such as Ship works, Ship station or Worldship
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Comfortable using a computer
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Ensure all orders are filled correctly and on-time delivery metrics are met while keeping shipping costs low
- Correctly prepare shipping orders and labels
- Assist in scheduling large shipment pick ups
- Cross-train and assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar position
- Fluent in English with good communication skills
- Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Basic math and computer skills such as Word, Excel & Gmail.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Physically able to lift 50+ lbs. and stand for long periods of time
- Troubleshoot shipping issues
- Able to work well in an open environment with others
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willing to be cross-trained
Hours: 9:00am - 5:30pm Monday - Friday - Overtime can be made available upon approval
Pay will be determined based on several factors including the candidate's work experience, job duties and certifications.
