Besides the main engineering and assembly facility in Almelo, the Netherlands, HITECis located inthe United States of America, United Kingdom, Malaysia, Spain, Taiwan, China, and Russia.

  1. Your position within the company
    TheLogistics Coordinatoris a member of theRegionalServicedepartment. Together with the colleagues in the Customer Serviceteamyou manage theinventories,ordering specialist equipment and Labour. You report totheService Director Americas.
  1. Role Ownership

The role is accountable formonitoringparts availabilityshipment coordination, issue resolution, escalation management, and status communication through full closure. This role is expected to proactively manage outcomes rather than function as a support-only position.

    As belowin 3.1andtosupport the Serviceand Projectsdepartments.

3.1 Responsibilities,dutiesand authority

  1. Logistics& Operations
  • Organize courier shipments, freightforwarding.
  • Maintainaccuratedocumentation for all logistical activities.
  • Preparationfor PMs, overhauls, outages, and projectsas per Service Orders
  • Coordinate customs brokers whenrequired.
  • Prepare shipping documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, export docs)
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments (air, ground, freight, oversized).
  • Manage urgent same-day / next-flight-out shipments for critical outages
  • Own the ITT processand replenish used stock within agreedtime frames.
  • Photo documentation of outbound shipments
  • Tracking logs
  • Delivery confirmation
  • Proactive delay communication
  1. Stock & Inventory Management
  • Monitor stock levels and replenish spare parts, service tools, and consumables.
  • Perform regular stocktakes andmaintainstock kit notes.
  • Book incoming goods and ensure proper administrative processing.
  • Own audits of Regional-wide stock locations
  • Own IC/ KEM and ETM turning logs
  • Establish and manage inventory control processes
  • Monitor min/max levels and initiate replenishment
  • Low Stock Alerts
  • Proactive Replenishment
  • Escalate forecast risks or material constraints early to Service Director and Project stakeholders.
  • Manage inbound and outbound parts transactions in ERP
  • Book incoming and outgoing goods and ensureaccurateadministrative processing.

Requirements

  • Associate/Bachelordegreeleveleducation inlogisticsor technical subject is highly desirable

2 Experience

  • At least ten years of working experience is requireddue to the interim natureof therolewhich isaimed at resolving urgent issuesthreatening theday-to-day continuityand stabilizing the warehouse operations,

Benefits

This position is established as an initial six-month assignment to provide additional support to the Parts & Logistics operation. During this period, the employee will be trained on HITEC parts, inventory, parts picking and kit building, shipping and receiving, warehouse organization, logistics, and nationwide Field Service support processes.

Performance will be evaluated based on attendance and dependability, parts and kit accuracy, inventory and cycle-count accuracy, shipping accuracy and timeliness, warehouse organization and cleanliness, productivity, computer and paperwork accuracy, safety, communication, teamwork, flexibility, and the ability to learn and take on additional responsibilities. Based on business needs and individual performance, there may be an opportunity for the position to continue beyond the initial six-month assignment.
