Purpose of Role:
We are seeking a Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will coordinate service activities, support warranty and parts fulfillment processes, and help ensure timely resolution of customer service issues. You will work closely with Sales, Production, Warranty, and Administrative teams to deliver excellent customer support and maintain operational efficiency.
The Impact (What You'll Do):
- Coordinate and schedule service calls by working closely with the sales team and ensuring necessary parts and resources are available for successful completion.
- Track and resolve service and warranty issues by monitoring open cases, following up on outstanding items, and ensuring timely customer support.
- Manage parts and warranty orders by coordinating fulfillment activities and communicating status updates to customers and internal teams.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by analyzing warranty trends, identifying recurring issues, and assisting in the development of corrective actions.
- Serve as a key communication link between Sales, Warranty, Production, and Administrative teams to ensure efficient service operations and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree, technical certification, or related education preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in service coordination, warranty administration, customer service, parts logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, RV, automotive, or related industries preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Experience working with ERP systems and service documentation preferred.
- Valid driver's license required and must meet company driving requirements.
