A well-established company in the industrial processing industry is seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join their maintenance team. This is a hands-on role supporting heavy industrial equipment in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy industrial equipment
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
- Repair and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Perform basic welding and fabrication as needed for repairs
- Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records
- Follow all safety protocols and support a strong safety culture on the plant floor
- Respond to emergency equipment breakdowns and provide timely resolution
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience as an industrial, diesel, or heavy equipment mechanic
- Strong understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems
- Ability to read technical drawings and equipment manuals
- Welding/fabrication experience a plus
- Comfortable working outdoors and in a physically demanding environment
- Valid driver's license
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
