Talent Acquisition Recruiter Freeport, TX 77541Type: 6-month contract with direct hire possibleCompensation: $26.00 - $30.00Work Model: OnsiteHours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm System One is seeking a Talent Acquisition Recruiter to join our team in Freeport, TX for a 6-month contract opportunity with potential for direct hire. This position is primarily on onboarding and hiring support activities, with less emphasis on sourcing and recruiting. The Recruiter is responsible for providing customer service to internal and external customers, coordinating hiring activities, extending job offers, and supporting the successful onboarding of new hires. Prior recruiting experience is not required. We are seeking candidates who are organized, adaptable, eager to learn, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities

  • Coordinates site interviews with appropriate hiring managers to select qualified candidates for project-specific requirements and make contingent employment offers based on federal/state law.
  • Manages assigned employment requisitions including reviewing, editing, and final approval of completed requisitions.
  • Tracks and reports staffing plan process data using computer software programs such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other databases.
  • Builds and updates job descriptions based on project scope and requirements.
  • Coordinates and conducts re-deployment initiatives, maintaining proactive communication with employees prior to anticipated end dates.
  • Conducts operational and administrative portions of the hiring process (background checks, drug screens, health screens, I9 compliance, E-Verify, employment paperwork, site-specific requirements).
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Prior recruiting experience is not required. We are seeking candidates who are organized, adaptable, eager to learn, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • 2+ years of administrative, customer service, or related experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, learn new processes quickly, and work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and professionalism.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual - Fluent in Spanish and English is a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Work will be in a general office environment with occasional work in an industrial location.
  • Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting, and lifting.
  • May be required to pick up, lift, carry, and move up to 50lbs.
